ABOUT Woori Dentistry
We sincerely welcome all patients visiting our dental clinic. At our clinic, we treat patients with the utmost care, as if they were family, and we do our best to provide excellent care. Dr. Keechun Hong graduated from Tufts Dental School and has participated in teaching as a clinical professor at Harvard for many years. He is joined by associate dentist Dr. Sung Ryel Choi, a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry who also holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Based on years of clinical experience, we offer all treatments, including implants, crowns, and root canals, in one place, striving to make everything as convenient as possible for our patients. In addition to providing excellent technical care, all of our staff are dedicated to helping alleviate any fears about dental treatment or financial concerns you may have.
MEET Dr. Choi
Dr. Sung Ryel Choi is an experienced general dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized dental care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2018 and has since practiced in various clinical settings across the United States.
His clinical experience includes comprehensive examinations, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, surgical and wisdom tooth extractions, crowns and bridges, dentures, periodontal treatment, and dental implant procedures. He completed the AAID Implant MaxiCourse in 2025 as part of his continued professional education in implant dentistry.
Prior to his dental career, Dr. Choi earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). His diverse academic background contributes to his analytical approach, precision, and attention to detail in patient care.
Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Choi values clear communication and building lasting relationships with his patients. He is committed to providing quality dental care with a thoughtful, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
